I contracted with Cafe Rio to cater my company's Christmas Party on 11 December 2017. I had purchased food for 90 as well as delivery and setup several weeks in advance. I contacted the catering department the day of the event to confirm my request, and was assured that the food would be delivered and setup in time for my guests to eat by 6:15pm. Despite these reassurances from the catering department, this location failed to deliver hot food on time. Calls to the restaurant to determine what was going on were fruitless. The assistant manager, Justin, was more concerned with offering me points on the Cafe Rio app than determining where the food was. That's nice and all but the problem at hand needed to be solved and Justin was unable to do so. The funny thing is that our event was held at Noah's on 11000 South and I-15. Justin and his crew are located at 123000 South and I-15-- a mere 12 blocks away from Noah's and yet they were still unable to deliver hot food on time! For $1,462.29, including a $124.08 delivery charge, I would have expected more help from Justin in solving this problem. This was an epic fail. I will say this: the two women who eventually did show up were courteous and efficient and obviously doing the best they could while were working in the confines of a broken system. I sincerely appreciate their efforts.

This place used to be great. Now, it’s repeatedly a terrible experience. I just spent an hour waiting in line for my to go order which I was told would be ready in 20 minutes, and I had to cancel the order, because it was still ANOTHER hour from being ready. The worst part is they took my money when I walked in the door, but gave me no information on when or if my food was ready. I understand you may be busy, that’s fine, but don’t lie to me (20 min vs 2 hours) after you’ve already taken my money. The icing on the cake was taking an additional 15 minutes to get a manager to refund me AFTER my order was canceled. This place needs new management or something, because it’s a dumpster fire right now.

They like to close an hour early on Sunday for some reason, so take that into consideration. I went up to the door at 9:10 PM and it was all locked up. Thanks Cafe Rio, maybe consider a revision of your hours, 10 PM is false.

Super awful service!!! Rude and impatient and yelled at us when we were still in the line making our way to the counter to give the order! Rude cashier who didn’t scan my phone even though I had it out and ready then told me to deal with it and scan the receipt (I had rewards to save money). The food tasted awful - house dressing and chili pork had no flavor. Waste of money and food. Wish we could have gone somewhere else.

Phone service wasn’t good. They had an attitude and acted annoyed when I ordered. Then when I went to pick up the food, they had made the meal with a different meat than the one I ordered because they ran out and didn’t ask which other I wanted. Would have liked a nicer person on the phone and them to ask which other meat I wanted instead of assuming.
