Cafe Rio is one of my favorite places to eat. This is a close commute to both my place of employment and my home and every time I go I spend at least 20-35 minutes in line just waiting to order my food. Typically there is no more than 5-6 people ahead of me in line. The food is always pretty good, but the amount of time you have to wait to even tell your order if there is barely anyone in line is pretty shocking. If the line is long I suggest you don't even bother. You will spend almost an hour or more in line.

I love Cafe Rio!  This particular location is usually very busy, but they changed the interior a bit to include a separate take out ordering/waiting area.  There is also an outdoor seating area with several tables.  They have two drink bars and serve Coke products, along with various lemonades and limeades.  I'm not really sure why the overview says the location is inside Seagull Book, as that store is not even close to this restaurant, but I was unable to change that.  Stop by for lunch or dinner - you won't be disappointed.

My husband just got back from picking up our to-go order. He had such a bad experience with the staff. They were very rude to him, for no apparent reason. He patiently waited longer than he should have had too, got our food. He checked my salad... it appeared to have no tortilla strips on it and they had the extra dressing I purchased, he thought great the orders are right.

I start eating my salad... what was supposed to be a grilled chicken salad, no  strips, just rice.... was actually sweet pork, black beans and someone picked almost all of the strips they put on the salad off... So, instead of fixing the order, they pretended to fix it. And, when I call to speak to a manager I am transferred to a beep... no message. Ridiculous. We should get a refund. If I came in to a restaurant and took things I did not pay for, that would be considered theft. (You pay more for the salad I ordered than the one they gave me, and extra for the extra things I requested.)

We had a complaint and spoke to Josh about it.
He understood and completely took care of us. Great management. We always come here and this was the first time we ever had an issue. I'm happy we were taken care of and will continue to be customers of theirs.

The last three times I've been to this location, I've ordered online for takeout. The last three times I have waited 15 to 30 minutes past the time they gave me to pick up. The takeout should be a quick method to get your food and get out, but they aren't even beginning to get any take out orders ready until the customer gets there to pick up their order. They get two stars because the food is great. If they can manage the takeout part better they could get five stars. Right now, their poor management drops them.
