We love Camp Richardson. We go at least once a year to enjoy our favorite spots on beautiful Lake Tahoe. We love their giant servings of ice cream at the ice cream shop. There is an amazing bike trail that runs both directions from Camp Richardson, and is easy enough for my little kids to ride. The Calamari at the Beacon is AMAZING! We are already talking about when we can go back.

If you're staying in Lake Tahoe, you have to stop by the Beacon (camp Richardson's bar/grill). They have a drink they're known for, the rum-runner. Its delicious and tastes like Tahoe! The bar sells the mix so you can take it home with ya. If you're coming just for the Beacon, you have to pay to park in the parking lot. You may get lucky on the street in front of the general store.

We had the pleasure of spending three nights camping in an extra large site at Camp Richardson, the last week of June 2017. We found the camp site clean, the bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot and affordable. It was a quick walk to get ice cream with the kids and to get to the beach to get into the water. (OMG IT"S COLD) We will be coming back again soon!

Camped her a couple times in the past. Front desk people VERY rude. The bar down at the at the beach most part people ok. You do have a little latino guy that like to push his weight around. DOES NOT NEED A JOB ANY WHERE on the site with his attitude. He was also a first class ASS HOLE at the Coffee shop. He is what we call a want to be show boat for the people. SON do your self a favor and pick somebody else. Do not need a BABY SITTER BOYS and GIRLS. So please just let me have my Beer and enjoy the music and views. I understand you have local and Bay Area people come in all the time and a lot of them you probably know by first name. Fine and dandy. I like to visit 3 hours to enjoy the fine music good beer and the views while I do some thinking in general. That is once a year.

We went up last weekend 04/21/2017-04/23, a party of 7 and we had a blast. We did get a noise complaint from parting a little too loud, but the staff was really nice and friendly about it. The cabin was clean and well kept. The area was located perfectly near the lake and not too far from town. Not to mention the casinos. The only thing was the beds could have been a little more comfortable, but not a big deal because we didn't go up to sleep. Well maybe a little. Overall we had a great time and experience. Much Thanks to Camp Richardson for putting up with us and allowing us to enjoy our stay....Sh^& was LEGIT!!! THANKS AGAIN
