This campground does enjoy making bogus police reports. They send someone to harass the library patrons during the daytime. If a crime is not happening then why is this entity complaining? Whatever is going on is not on your side of the fence. If you do not like the appearance of persons who attend the public library then why not make your fence higher so you don't have to look at them. ALL PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO EXIST!!! STOP CAUSING THE HARASSMENT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!! IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT PATRONS DO IT AT NIGHT TIME NOT DURING THE OTHER BUSINESSES HOURS!!! WHAT A RUDE GROUP IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE ON YOUR PROPERTY THEN MIND YOUR PROPERTY!!!! OTHERWISE STOP BLAMING INNOCENT PEOPLE FOR YOUR LACK OF ATTENTION!!!

I have been coming here for years just before HAN in Reno.. GOOD POINTS Large camp spots. Mostly good people for short talk witch is good for me. I travel alone and not much of a talker any ways. I enjoy kicking back and having a few beers and enjoy the views. Beach, coffee shop and sandwich shop across the street. I do take the bus and the stops are right by the site. BAD POINTS..Got up 7:00 A.M and somebody comes running over and asking when I was going to leave so he can have my spot. Did say he did not want to rush me, but still...To early in the mourning for this..Did not even have a cup a coffee yet. People walking through your camp site. One time kids bouncing beach balls off a brand new 2008 twin turbo F-350 truck did not say nothing for I figured the parents would. LIKE REAL GOOD PARENTS SHOULD. Finally I did and the lady thought I was just wanted to complain about something. I had explain to her and her husband along to her family  THAT I WORKED VERY HARD FOR WHAT HAVE HERE. If they like to tare stuff up they need to do them self a favor and tare up there OWN stuff instead of others.  If you have a problem, the park managers make it sound like don't come to me with it. Homeless people just right outside the park at your bus stop and at night. SO WATCH YOUR STUFF. I will continue to come here though I don't spend much time at the camp site during the day.....

Nice wide open camping spots, not crammed together. Good facilities (showers, bathrooms with plugs, water spigots readily available throughout campsite. My one complaint is the quiet hours where not readily enforced. Had a group of really loud campers with a huge fire going after midnight

was our very first time at  South Lake Tahoe camping ground! Breathtaking absolutely breathtaking!   We will be back !✨💫🇺🇸💗💋🦋

This campground is well priced, clean, and a short walk to the beach. Great for dogs and kids. The camp host for our section was super difficult this year, but we have been going for 20 years and had never had a problem.
