I was seen in the emergency room for excruciating pain in my lower back, radiating thru my hip and to my knee and then the outside of my calf to the bottom of my foot, I couldn't lay, sit or stand, the pain was unbarable. I waited in the check in, ER waiting area for close to 30 minutes and they weren't busy, you could hear them laughing and from what I seen there were no other patients. I got to the cubical/room she asked me what was wrong I explained, then the Dr came in, if she was a Dr she looked no older than 20 at the most, she asked me what was going on I told her and she could see I was very uncomfortable and couldn't get comfortable. She checked my leg an it hurt to the touch and determined it was my siatic nerve, no other test were run. The Dr gave me some medication, after 30 minutes no relief and no nurse came to check on me, I waited for another 15 minutes or so still no nurse came to check on me, so I had my ride go to get the nurse, you can here them laughing at the desk and when she went to the desk they all left in different directions, but they was not busy no other patients. So my ride brought back a wheelchair and I was going to just leave, a male nurse came in had me sign out never gave no discharge instructions and could see I was still in alot of discomfort, then he left letting my ride wheel me out, we was going down the hall when the Dr seen us, she said I see still no relief I said no and I'll just go up north to be taken care of, they continued to let my ride wheel me out, they didn't even offer, last I new it was there responsibility to wheel you out. I always remember a nurse to be caring and compassionate not judging and arrogant.

Husband is in Icu right now has been for a couple of days and the car he has gotten has been great! Professional, friendly, and caring. But the cafeteria is another story. Love the food they serve but it is no longer open on Sundays not to say it would serve visitors if it was. I work during the day so I was hoping to come and have dinner with my husband at night, bit no they do not serve visitors dinner. Way to make your patients family members feel better and comforted

Son broke his arm this weekend. Took him in to the ER. They have redone it! It is very nice and clean. They had a special room for kids that made my son comforted. There were people that came in with a stuffed animal for my son which he loved. Everyone treated us well. We got in and out very fast which is crazy for a holiday weekend.

If you can avoid this place then please do. Your just a number here. The nurses are more interested in gossiping, the doctors don't really care, billing is a friggen joke, and you will end up in the waiting room for hours. Literally, you could be bleeding to death and you will have to wait for 3 hours before a Dr will even see you. It is so depressing how this place has monopolized this small community because it is too difficult for some people to go over the mountain. Whoever is in charge needs to take a closer look from the patients side of things. I could go on and on but there is no pointing in wasting that kind of time on a place that won't try to better itself or even treat people decent. It's really sad. Go at your own risk. ICU and the ER are super scary so try to go to a different hospital if you can at all help it.
