This hotel is within walking distance to the lake and restaurants. If you're booking a room with a kitchenette you'll need to bring cookware and dish cleaning things. The kitchen is nice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This hotel is very well kept and clean.

Not even worth 1 star. 1. their door use the old style steel key. This is not safe, any prior guest could make a duplicate copy to get into your room. It is not possible for them to change the door lock each time change new guest. Right??? 2. Room are smelly, Carpet and bathroom floor are Extremely dirty. Dry noodle and rice were between the bed and the Lamp table (see photo). Table has inches of dust. Even we paid for 2 rooms non-refundable hight season price for an dirty INN, we quickly decided to leave. Rather drive at night for 4 hours back to SF, better than sleep with the bed bugs.....When I think back, leaving was the best choice I ever did for me, my friend, and my family...... 3. There is a big black dog walking in/out of the room that stores lots of cleaned towel. located next to room #1.... OMG, dog with the cleaned towel.

It's a one to two star budget hotel. We stayed for one night , our room had 2 full size beds, one twin bed , table , chair , television , microwave , mini-fridge , coffee-maker & room heating. Hotel has free parking ,wi-fi & a small swimming pool. I had booked the room for $122/night (including taxes) thru priceline for a regular weekend in mid-September. Pros : Good for 1 or 2 nights on a budget, located in heart of south lake tahoe , walking distance from heavenly ski resort , casinos & lakeside beach. Cons: Cleanliness can be improved, bathroom & carpets need to be deep cleaned, very small stand-in shower.

Excellent place to stay right in the heart of South Shore Lake Tahoe! Close to Heavenly Ski Resort; Beach; Shopping Centers; Restaurants; Harrah's & Harvey's Casinos. Owner and staff our exceptionally customer service oriented, super nice! Enjoy the beautiful serene surroundings of the beach or walking/bike trails. Walk to the beach for fun in the sun, in the evenings walk to the Casino theatres see a show, dining or have fun at your luck at the game tables. I sure enjoyed my stay to relax spending time away from work/home. Rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable & cozy. I looked at some recently remodeled rooms, as the owner is updating rooms/suites during his slow time of the season. They have fully equipped kitchenettes w/free standing stove/oven; microwave; Flat screen TV; some w/gas log fireplaces, (I enjoyed the flickering fire light in my room). Who would want to eat out, just relax! I was recently there on March 17th, St Patrick's day my birthday w/lots of snow/skiers! The best part is the price point! You have a very nice room, in an excellent location for an unbeatable price! You'll be happy you stayed at the Ceder Inn & Suites. I'm looking forward to spending some summer nights at the Ceder Inn! Thank you William & staff for your exceptional hospitality!
