From my son: Hello! My name is Donovan, I’m seven years old. I am a Taekwondo student and I’ve been taking Taekwondo for two months. I’ve learned the first form and some punches and kicks, even how to count in Korean! My favorite part about Taekwondo is the dodge ball at the end, and they make really fun games out of the exercises at the start and middle. You get a uniform and a white belt when you start and your shirt matches your belt. I really hope you want to go there. It’s really easy to make friends there!

My son, Marcus, loves taking classes at Charleston Taekwondo. Over the past of couple years he has tried soccer, basketball, and gymnastics. None of these other classes or camps sparked any kind of interest in him for organized sports. He even tried taekwondo at another studio in Mount Pleasant, but I did not find it to be as organized or challenging as Charleston Taekwondo. They spend time working with the students on moral values, not just focusing solely on the physical part of the sport. They actually talk to, and get to know each individual student in their class.

We love Charleston Taekwondo!! The instructors are great and know every kids name. The facility is always clean and inviting. The kids are taught courtesy and integrity as well as kicking and punching. We have had an excellent experience here and would recommend Charleston Taekwondo to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here!! They all really care about their students and making sure they are the best they can be. My daughter loves going to class and I love watching her interact with everyone! Highly recommend Charleston TKD to everyone!

Charleston Taekwondo is a wonderful martial arts school! The instructors are very friendly and welcoming and have a great way of teaching their students in a disciplined yet fun manner. I have nothing but good things to say about CTKD!
