Good food but pathetic service. I usually try things thrice before arriving at a conclusion. Chennai Cafe was consistently poor in managing customers. It took them around an hour in all 3 occasions to get the food to table and that too only partial order. What disappoints me most is their attitude....very very rude.  they feel people will come for food and don't give a damn about the whole experience. It won't be late before people realize that it's not worth the hassle..and they will find better option.

Bad service.. Bad food for vegetarians.. we ordered 3 dishes  and all three tasted same... I personally wouldn’t recommend for veg friends..

I went more than 3 times here for tiffins. Idly and dosa was good. But took lot time . I had to wait and request for couple times. But food is good

We ordered vadas and dosas and waited for 30+min for the order. Everyone who came after us about 5-6 customers got orders very fast but us. When we tried to ask, were curtly told our order was coming. Even after that whole order did not arrive in one go.. it took another 15 min! Never going back for dine-in as staff is unorganized and service is slow!! Will try again take away order as food was authentic and tasty!

Excellent South Indian food! We ordered thalpakatti biryani, chicken kothu parota, Madurai chicken varuval and king fish fry. Everything was yummy and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant!
