Small family businesses that take care of their customers are hard to find these days. I live in Nevada and has a truck shipped to me. They took care of all of the paperwork, set up the shipping and got it to me at a very fair price. The truck looks amazing and I am so happy I took a chance on these guys.

First of all, beware the good reviews you see here- they make you sign a document agreeing to leave them a good review upon purchase. I had an unreasonably poor experience purchasing my first vehicle from Cherner brothers.  I'm a nurse and a grad student and purchased a 2010 Subaru Forester from the Cherner Brothers at the end of July 2017. About 45 days later it required $2500 for a head gasket repair to keep it on the road. Older Subaru's are known for their head gasket issues (being my first Subaru, I learned this too late).  About 10,000 miles before the gaskets blow, the oil begins to leak (I thought it was suspicious that the engine looked pristine from being cleaned with an industrial detergent to cover up any signs of a leak). The Cherners had assured me this Subaru was in great shape and had come from their business partners at a local dealership that they "trade with frequently." Being familiar with Subarus, the Cherners should have certainly anticipated this common issue for older Subarus that had been intentionally covered up by them or by their "trusted business partners" at the Subaru dealership. 

To make matters more complicated, I was on a road trip across the country when the gaskets blew in Colorado. I went forward with the repairs in Colorado since it was my only option to get my car back on the road (my car was gushing oil). When I contacted the Cherner Brothers after the incident, they agreed that this was a common and expensive issue for Subarus (thanks for the warning!) but said there was nothing they could do since it was beyond the 30 day warranty. They gave some other BS excuses too:  I should have had their mechanics look at it when it happened (I told them I was in CO!) and "the ends do not justify the means" (I guess they thought it was appropriate to just keep driving across the country with a severe oil leak?) I paid full price for a Forester in "great shape" only to pay $2500 in repairs a little over a month after purchase. So much for their commitment  "Nothing You'd Expect, Just What You Deserve." I suppose they think I deserved to go $2500 more in the hole for expecting them to be decent honest people.
