Family owned and operated. This is not a hi dollar resort. But it is to me an American dream in progress. The atmosphere is easy going from what I've observed. My family goes there for horse riding and it's has a very impressive stable for the horses and a huge riding pavilion for the riders. Ms. Leigh ( hope the spelling is correct) runs the show with the help of a few good women as teachers and helping hands. If you're camping there are many things to do such as biking down the cannal. Or hitting a bucket of golf balls at their range. Swimming in not one but two pools. They have picnic areas with a large pavilion. Can accommodate large cruisers to tents. Hook ups for electric and sewer. All in all I just see a really great time with my family there. Stop in and tell em Mr Mike sent ya. : ^ )

My husband and I spent a total of seven months in the year of 2017. We began as a two week camper and decided we liked the camp so much we ask for a monthly spot. They have done a lot of renovations and cleanup’s since we have started staying there. They put in new bathrooms and laundry rooms. Everyone has been given a notice that there is not allowed to be anything outside the trailers except things like chairs and bikes. There have been few people that were asked to leave because their sites were not cleaned up. The staff that we have met and interacted with have been extremely helpful. We then decided to park a camper there for three months. We travel back-and-forth from Pennsylvania once every couple Months. I have read a lot of bad reviews on here but I think it was under different management. Because in 2017 things have been a lot nicer than what I have read on here. My husband and I have decided to call and ask if we can get a permanent spot for this year also. Although I think there should be a lot more for children, But my grandchildren have a lot of fun there riding bikes and exploring the woods. Thank you so much to the campground for a comfortable stay.

This is a relatively large campground. The major attraction here is that they have horses with stables and exercise facilities. They also have a large amount of property available for storage of boats and RV's. They have spaces for a wide variety of uses. They have spaces reserved for monthly renters and others for daily and weekly renters. They have spaces specifically set up for 50 amp service, 30 app service and 20 amp service. There are hook-ups with only water and electricity and others with water electricity and sewer.

The best part about this place is the showers! Bathrooms have been upgraded. Laundry prices not bad HOWEVER the staff is extremely RUDE!!!!! Just snotty and short and honestly seem to just either hate their job or are just rude people! BETH is the nicest one there! Everyone else is awful. Went to rent a bike and she came back with "NO..You don't stay here" I did..for near 2weeks! None of there golf carts work! On the day we left we actually met a nice gentleman who was camping with his grandson and first thing he says is about how rude the staff was and he just got there! Tree limbs hanging down just waiting to fall! Very unsafe! The security (Sgt. Jim) is very rude and nosey. Always had eyes on us like we didn't belong there or we're doing something wrong! I DO NOT recommend this place to camp!

Decent campground, nice new updated bathrooms & very reasonable priced. But I can not imagine having a job dealing with the public and to acting so NASTY. They did not discriminate they were nasty to everyone. When I called to make reservations, once for the for the cabin and again for the tent site, when we checked in, each time we visited the camp store, when we rented bikes, when we rented golf cart, when we checked out they were rude. The only nice employees were the teenagers working at the campground. It was a bust due to the negative atmosphere from the employees which seemed to rub on some of the regular campers at the campground. Again, not all the regular campers but there were a few which were as rude as the employees.
