Even without carrying any shellfish or alcohol Chucks is still a 5 star grocery store. I do wish they were open on Saturdays also. The selection of produce is the best in town and the prices are excellent. In fact all the departments are are top notch. Their pizza is dough is great too or better yet get some of their pizzas to eat in the store at the cozy dining area. I haven't dined their personally but based on the number of people there you know it's great.

Chuck's is an amazing place to shop. The fruit are local, fresh, and well priced. We've had lunch/supper there quite a few times and it has always been great. They have hot meals ready, a large deli, and nice salad/soup bar. If you haven't been there before, please go and enjoy the atmosphere.

Our favorite grocery store. Best choice, quality and price on fresh produce in the area. Good bakery and deli. Very helpful and friendly staff. Many specialty items, but limited number of brand's on regular items. Tuesday they give 10% off to seniors.

Great place to shop for niche health food and beauty products. The prices are generally cheaper than places like Whole foods and they have an excellent produce section. Chuck’s is also a great place to meet up with people. The seating area is extensive and the selection wide enough to please most. This location has better food options than the Mill Plain location. Also, they have free WiFi.

Customer service at this store is horrendous, just about anywhere else is better. We avoid this store as much as possible, but occasionally buy meat here because our usual haunt is across town. My husband is the chef and he notices I never eat as well or like his food as much when he buys food from here. For incredible customer service that goes way above and beyond try New Seasons. Everyone there is fabulous. We travel over there once a week and it is well worth it. Excellent meat, produce - they will endlessly help you sample so you can make sure you’re happy with what you purchase-, fantastic Nordstrom style return policy if you should ever have an issue. I could go on. We have been begging them to put a store on this side of town, they’ve told us they’re looking for property. We would be SO excited if that happens! Oh, and they’re open 7 days a week, 8-10, serve all foods and wines for those missing those things!
