Would not recommend to anyone. I secured an apartment and payed the deposit only to have told to me by the apartment management that they didn’t secure the apartment that I wanted and gave it to someone else. Who does that??? So I had no where else to go and just kind of settled. The staff is greedy and have zero customer service skills. The day I moved in my back door wouldn’t even lock and then there was a wasp invasion outside of my apartment and I got stung and so did my dog and it took them FOREVER to get rid of them. Then my sink started leaking and flooded my kitchen. Save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else. They make the outside look good but the inside is mediocre at best for what you pay.

I lived here for a year and was not impressed. The exterior is nice but once you get inside the apartment it's sort of falling apart or the quality is not worth what they charge for it. I had quote a few things break on me. The worst was when the AC went out in the middle of the summer and it took them over 24 hours to fix it. There are also a lot of extra fees. I thought I was smart enough to catch them but I should have needed the warnings in other reviews. They have a mandatory monthly fee because of their exclusive contract at the time with Time Warner Cable for cable and internet that you had to pay regardless of whether you got cable and/or internet. And if you did get them that was yet another monthly bill paid to TWC. They also charge a mandatory housekeeping fee when you move out to have the apartment professionally cleaned. At least I didn't have to waste time cleaning it myself. They do have a decent fitness center and all units coke with a washer and dryer which was nice

I would love to recommend Colonial Grand, as my apartment has been great for the last 4.5 years. I will be sad to leave it, but excited for the next phase of life, home ownership. Unfortunately the market makes this a hard transition. I looked for 7 months before the right house/offer was accepted. So there was no way that my lease would end at the right time. I let the complex know my intentions and continued my hunt. Now to move out: You have a 60 day notice (2 more rent payments) plus an additional 1.5 month rent fee. To move out it is costing me $4075 for a 1 bedroom apartment. I have lived here 4.5 years without 1 late payment ($75 fee + $10/ day after 3 days) and they were willing to adjust the move out fee based on renter history.

I feel that this is important for renters to know. Because the complex is nice, financially it is hard to make sense. Below are the monthly fees. So just make sure it financially works for you. 

Rent has increased by $319 in 4.5 years

Fees (in addition to rent): $126/month (mandatory TWC cable, water, sewer, valet trash, pest control)

Office staff has always been nice and professional. Maintenance completes requests in a timely fashion. Grounds are kept clean and people are friendly. I did have a small issue with the water heater being placed and leaving the repairs kind of messy. I would recommend. Lived there for 3 years.

I have a video i am going to show the Euless police of a drunk grown man at least 200lbs I believe his name is Michael. The video shows him aggressively confronting 3 teen boys, calling them names, cursing at them as he charged towards them kicking them out of the pool bcus they jumped in the pool and got him wet, he is IN the pool mind you. Video stops as the boys are being yelled at. This person then throws a chair at them.  Horrible that our kids are not safe
