Colorado Cabin Adventures is a place for fun! Situated along the North Fork of the Colorado River, we provide rustic, historic cabin rentals to host unique and memorable experiences for adventure seekers and families. Although rustic in design, the cabins are comfortable with modern plumbing, heaters and/or fireplaces, and essential kitchen supplies (pots, pans, stove/oven, and utensils). In addition, each cabin was renovated this winter to improve décor and appliances; new beds and bedding were purchased.
Beyond the cabins, the grounds include five (5) acres with ample room to create a sense of freedom and privacy. Located along the riverfront are picnic tables and campfire pits. A short walk along the riverside leads to Shadow Mountain Lake and Pine Beach for water access to fish, swim, or boat. Adjoining the property is a Colorado State Park with hundreds of acres providing habitat for wildlife. Observation of moose, elk, chipmunks, and waterfowl is common.
Within a short drive, the grand ole town of Grand Lake offers our guests a boardwalk with a variety of restaurants, stage theatre, watering holes, and live music. The region is encompassed by public parks including Rocky Mountain National Park, Arapahoe National Forest, and various state parks. A broad host of activities are available to our guests including waterskiing, downhill skiing, fishing, sailing, hunting, and arts. Our on-site management team is always helpful and responsive to guests' inquiries for recommendations and/or assistance on excursions or other activities. We have extensive local knowledge of locations and resources that we will share with you. Our desire is to maximize your vacation experience whether your goal is to relax leisurely on the property or seek out the region's outdoor adventures.
