Nice cabins. Clean cabins! Family friendly. Well kept property. Friendly staff. This is our favorite place to relax in Colorado. This was our 14th year to stay at Glacier Lodge. Once we found Glacier Lodge, we quit looking for a better place!

Love, love, love it! Our Family have been staying at the Glacier Lodge for about 15 years. We come every year same time, same cabins, and every year we are able to create some very wonderful memories. Staff always cordial, and helpful, the cabins very clean, with the feeling of hygge (cozy). Lots of room in our cabins where our very large Family have the opportunity to enjoy the youngest to the eldest. The grounds well kept and offer a variety of activities, pool, playground, ping pong, basketball, outdoor fire pits, horses, beautiful views! We just got home, another Beautiful visit... I checked Google looking for a nice cabin to spend a couple days at with my wife and while in Colorado. Glacier lodge had great reviews and looked like what we wanted. It was GREAT! It isnt the Ritz Carlton but we loved the rustic cabin. We stayed in the River cabin. Rustic, smaller but was great for what we wanted and was quite. The cowpoke carral is on site and we took and had a great 3 hr ride up the mountain. Loved my horse Fritz and our guide was great as well. Checking on us and taking good care of us and another couple. The views are breathtaking and pics don't do it justis. But the highlight of the trip is when a giant bull elk came running right between our cabin and another jumping in the river right in front of us 15 yards max. He drank and then stood there for some great pics just looking at us. He then ran back behind us so we looked and he had a herd of cow elk with him. They stayed there into the night. This might be the norm for the area, but it isnt for me. What a great time. We also went up into the Rocky Mountain National Park. The views are beyond words. It should be on everyones buck list. I will be trying to get all my kids and grand kids to go with us next year. Going to try for a large cabin for us. I looked at them while I was there and they are great. So if you are thinking about this place for a stay I would just go for it. James

Beautiful location with fishing, horse back riding, and wild elk right on the grounds. Would come back again.

The location of the lodge is easy to locate and convenient, yet is separated far enough from the main road to not hear traffic. The Big Thompson river runs right through the well maintained and beautiful property. At check in the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Our cabin (Timber Lodge) was amazing, and would easily accommodate much more than our group of 14. It was well furnished, and there was plenty of space to park. I was truly amazed at how much room there was. It was well beyond my expectations for cleanliness and spaciousness. I took my 5 year old son on a pony ride at the stables on the property. The staff there were also great. There is a heated pool on the property, in a convenient location. The kids were swimming with no issues at an outside temperature of 53° F. The pool does not have a shallow end for little ones, but there were steps at the entry points that they had fun playing on. I will definitely return to Glacier Lodge, and would recommend it to anyone.
