Grand Lake Lodge is definitely our new go to place. The views are amazing and the cabins are nice. We enjoyed the pool and bar area as well. We were not going to stay another night, but ended up doing so. Jeff, the manager was so nice. We didn't have a reservation for another night but he made sure we were taken care of. The staff is very friendly as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

The lodge is beautiful. There are plenty of cabins onsite and while all have been upgraded, they still have that rustic feel. They do not all have views, but who wants to be stuck inside staring out the window on vacation anyways? Isn't that what you do at work ;)?! Grand Lake is a beautiful area and the lodge sits just a short distance above the town and looks out at the two lakes (Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake) and overlooks the town. It is a stunning view from the porch and you can eat on the enclosed porch that overlooks the lake. They don't reservations for parties less than 7, but it is worth the wait to eat and enjoy the scenery. You can also grab a cocktail at the bar and sit out on deck on one of the swings and enjoy the view while waiting for your table. The gift shop has some neat gifts including blankets, bowls, plates, jewelry, etc. The room we stayed in and the one our parents stayed in was clean and cozy.

Stopped for "brunch" and was honestly skeptical if it would even fill me up because of the selection of food on the list. I was definitely surprised. The food and service were outstanding, it was clean, and food selection was amazing. Will be coming back.

The restaurant has a limited menu, but good food and a fantastic view of the lakes. Perhaps our favorite things about the lodge are sitting on the swings on the porch and sitting in front of the fireplace in the lobby. I've seen several people enjoying games of cards, monopoly, etc. there as well.

Went here for dinner after a day of enclosing rocky Mountain national park. The food was very good, and the wait staff was very friendly. Our waitress even took several pictures of us. The view from the "front porch" seating area overlooked grand lake and was absolutely amazing.
