Cat and Cory and the best! I have annual retreats there and this past summer had a big family reunion. LOVED it! Thanks for all you do to make our stay fantastic each and every time.

Massive props to the hard working folks who own this lodge! The food was the tops plus their flexibility for dietary requirements was outta sight... I felt so comfortable.... I can't thank ya'll enough for your flexibility

My two sisters and I took four little boys there for the weekend, and it was perfect. Reasonably priced, clean, and quiet, with a very laid-back feel. Three favorite features: 1) Hot tub under the stars-- perfect temp 2) Complimentary breakfast-- great healthy "mountain fuel" for the day! We had cinnamon rice with currants, veggie quiche, "drop rocks", and a spectacular strawberry burrito that tasted like a warm pb & j sandwich. They even sent an extra plate back to the cabin with us for our sister who slept in :) 3) This is a strange thing to love, but there on the back hill of the property there is a little hut made out of sticks-- the boys LOVED playing house/school/pioneers in that thing.. it was more popular than the playground. Those unique touches, plus the warm hospitality, make this a special place.

The husband and wife who run this place get high marks on hospitality. They are new owners who have only been there since summer of 2007, so the negative reviews from before that time aren't a good reflection of the current place. The rooms were very clean, our dog was welcome, the atmosphere was rustic but charming, and breakfast involved several hot dishes as well as cereal, fruit, bagels, and a complementary chocolate Easter bunny (it was Easter, obviously). I'd go again.
