My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. It was a very nice clean place to get away from it all but still be close to town to where if you needed anything it was a 5-10 minute drive. The location was very quiet and comfortable. The couple that runs the rustic river cabins are very sweet people and just want you to enjoy the outdoors. the cabins are very nicely kept.  I definitely recommend it if you just want to be alone and get away from it all!

If you stay anywhere else on The Big Thompson River, you are missing out. This place is a hidden gem tucked nicely away in the Rockies. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 6 days, 5 nights. During this time we encountered Elk, Chipmunks, good people and amazing views. The owners James and Jeanine made us feel welcome and comfortable, they put their heart into this place and its shows. The cabins are comfortable for all seasons, and the hot tubs are icing on the cake. Downtown Estes Park is a short drive away but far enough so you feel secluded. Like hiking? Trails right behind your cabin. Want to fish? Step out front and cast a line. I highly recommend this location for anyone with families, pets, or a young couple like ourselves. We were sad to leave but cannot wait to come back!!

Wish we could have stayed longer.  Amaaazing.  Very clean, plenty of towels, everything you need to cook, comfortable bed, great and WORKING jacuzzi outside, and even a FAN for a guy like me who always sleeps with one.  Very thoughtful, friendly, professional owners and we wanted to return for the customized Rustic cups hopefully we can get next year when we bring the family.  Can't wait. Thanks James & Jeanine

My boyfriend and I had the best of time here. The scenery is just amazing. Location is perfect. Owners are awesome! This place is really a steal. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Estes. Hope to be back next year.

Excellent little cabins within close distance of the main stretch of Estes Park and, from there, not much further to the National Park. The cabins are adorably small and feel very homey, in part thanks to James and Jeanine's kindness and care for their cabins and facilities. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
