Where do I begin? Our two-night stay in this hotel was awful. It was noisy and loud, inside and out. Our room had a beach view (if you can call it that), but we may as well have pitched a tent in the median of the road it was so noisy from the street traffic. And if that wasn't enough to keep us up, the slamming doors that echo down the hallway did the job. There's no mechanism for the doors to close slowly or quietly, so unless people make a concerted effort to close them gently, they slam shut and sound like a bomb going off. The beds are HORRENDOUS! You can't sit up, lie down, turn over, or make the slightest adjustment without hearing an awful squeaking sound (which is amplified because of the laminate floors they've put in instead of carpeting). They're also extremely uncomfortable because of said squeaky springs. If you're a side sleeper, your hips will hurt. The "auto" setting on the in-room heater seems to only sense two temperatures: freezing cold or roasting hot. There was no mention whatsoever on their website that they are undergoing major renovations or that indoor pool is closed while they await some kind of state certification. If you plan to use it, make sure the pool is open before you go through the effort of packing all your swim stuff for the entire family! The "adjacent playground" that's mentioned on the website is neither adjacent nor a playground. It's a set of swings on the beach up the street. Oh, and don't bother to provide feedback to the emotionless manager. I'm not sure if she's a crappy-hotel manager because of her attitude or if her attitude is the result of becoming numb to the complaints she undoubtedly hears all the time. She went through the motions of jotting down what I said (maybe because she was trained to do that?), but clearly didn't really give a $#it and "thanked" me for my feedback without offering the slightest apology or concession. I gave them two stars because it was clean, the lobby furniture is pretty, and the lemon water is a nice touch. And the employee who was working the desk the morning we checked out was very nice and was more sympathetic to our horrible stay than Miss Attitude Manager. Lesson learned. You always get what you pay for.

Don't waste your time paying for an ocean view. They are NOT on the ocean, across the street with another building blocking it. If you stand at the window and look to the right, through the telephone poles, you can see water. Totally misleading, should not charge for ocean view.....

It is a decent hotel. I gave it a 3 because the prices are a bit high for an older hotel. The swimming pool had some algie it it when I was there als o.

Very loud. Can clearly hear other rooms and people in the hallway. Beds are uncomfortable. Tip for comfort inn...you need something to absorb the sound in the rooms. Laminate floors and wooden furniture do not help.

General attitude of the desk staff was poor. Customer service not their priority. Booked rate was 340. However going rate at the time of check in was 240 and the hotel was not full. Not only would they not change the rate (which on some level is understandable) they were rude in their explanation- simply saying “that’s the rate you booked so your stuck with it.” Safe broken. No remedy. Phone broken. No button labels. Pay washer and dryer takes only 10 quarters yet no change machine present and not change at the desk. Again, met with rude, callous, uncaring attitude when approached. Stay very unsatisfactory.
