Exceptional service and quality. Great Starbucks coffee in the morning. Kevin lobby clerk was awesome. Clean rooms comfortable beds. Nice shower. We slept in and relaxed. They have a spa witch we did not use and a fitness center all looked tidy. It's steps away from the beach and the cliff walk trail. Beautiful location. Beautiful historic hotel.

This place is clean, definitely has a small hotel feel, almost like a bed and breakfast. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything and since it is a family friendly place, you might hear hundred running and screaming. The “view” of the ocean is really nice except the ONE window in our room was small so there wasn’t much of a view. It is very close to Cliff Walk which is really nice. I would definitely stay here again in the summer even though it’s not “downtown”. There is no resort fee (at least in the winter), free parking and there is always uber.

I stayed at the Newport Inn & Suites the weekend of getting engaged, and couldn't be happier I did. The hotel manager was forever present while staying there, and was more than kind. They made sure we had a fantastic room with beach views, and even comped a great bottle of wine for no reason other than customer service, and helping someone celebrate an important moment in their lives. So thank you to ALL the staff at Newport Inn & Suites! You helped make my engagement something special. Many of the negative reviews and comments on here are simply because people don't do their research, and you can see that just by reading them. They're more opinionated than factual. There's a historic building, and suites building. Know which atmosphere you're looking for with your stay at this hotel and you won't be disappointed.

The view and the staff are amazing. Our only issue is that we booked the hotel for the pool and the hot tub. That's a laugh. The pool is small but not bad however the hot tub isn't hot at all. It's more of a Luke warm bath. Sad. Didn't even reach 80°!

Amazing hotel great prices great views. Staff is extremely helpful. Im now staying an extra night.
