Despite the very pleasant communication I just had with the person who called me, I'm disgusted  with their sales tactic I encountered from a sales email I received today. The email showed the Giro Mobility Trouser on sale for $49.97 (and the picture depicted the khaki trouser). I clicked on it and found it listed as $99.95. Assuming the price would change once I put it in the cart, I did so. However, it didn't. It stayed at 99.95. The Chat box person informed me only the black size 36 was on sale. Whaaat? Out of 18 options (and I checked) only the black size 36 was on sale. All the rest were $99.95. What a sleazy tactic. The only reason they get 3 stars instead on 1 is the chat box person called me and offered me the size I wanted for the sale price. But what a hassle.

If Google would let me double the number of stars, I'd give ten.  Quick backstory: I was out on a ride at 5:30 am this past Thursday and had a mechanical I could not fix but needed to get fixed ASAP ahead of a century ride two days later.  I know Competitive Cyclist has better prices than any LBS in town -- that's a given after years of buying from them. 
Called the guys at the retail store who confirmed they'd have a bike mechanic there until 8 pm when the retail store closes.  That makes them the latest open LBS that I'm aware of, which is key when you work all day and can't get away from the office.  Called on my way down and spoke with John who told me to come on in and he'd get me fixed and back on the road.   John walked me through a host of options and even stayed late past the closing bell to see that everything was fixed and running smoothly.  Rode the century yesterday and the bike performed perfectly.  CC's prices are outstanding and the service John provided to me was above and beyond the call of duty.  But that's how this guy and this store operates, because he did the same thing for me last March when he helped me with a dropper post for my MTB.  Would highly recommend John and his team and the Retail Store to anyone in need of cycling gear and service.  And in case John ever reads this, I just want to say THANK YOU again!

After placing my order, I received a call at 9:00PM just to ask my opinion. Seriously!? I then began to receive countless spam emails and the unsubscribe button "just happens not to work." I have tried to contact them countless times to stop the emails, but I never get a response and I'm still getting their spam on a daily basis. I will never order from you ever again since you obviously have no respect for your customer's privacy.

Fantastic prices on great products, I ordered one roll of cork handle wraps and it came with extra material, cool stickers, a pack of blueberry flax granola and online coupons!!! They overkilled the customer satisfaction! Thank you guys, I'll be back for my next gear purchase

I can't say enough about how great my experience with CC has been. First off the price and customer service was unmatched by my LBS. I even gave them the opportunity to try, but they couldn't touch it. I pulled the trigger on my dream bike (Pivot 429 trail). My rep "Scott" was great! The bike showed up professionally packaged, in pristine condition and only took TWO days with regular shipping! Awesome job CC! You have my business for life....8)
