Corner Mercantile is an interesting downtown lunch spot with a diverse set of offerings. In addition to their pre-packed salads and protein snack packs, they also have a refrigerated display case filled with sandwiches and various entrees and sides from which a custom meal can be built and heated. They also have lots of healthy snacks for sale like Luna bars and Sun Chips. Finally there's a coffee and espresso station which makes some excellent coffee. When I was there around mid-morning, the cafe's atmosphere was very chill. The wooden tabletops and chairs were comfortable and I liked the music that was playing. It's a shame they don't have wifi, but I'll definitely stop by again.

This is by far my favorite lunch spot downtown! Quick and fresh, healthy food at reasonable prices AND friendly staff! I love the new kiosk to order too!
Everything is pre-made, which I don't have a problem with, but the 2 vegan items were on platters with meat. Why not put the 2 vegan items on a platter together away from the meat!?! It's really not difficult and would make vegans more comfortable. Food was edible but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. BLT was dry and sloppy Joe was a bit bland, didn't try the burrito because it honestly sounded weird.
Such a great spot in downtown Pittsburgh located right next to Point Park's campus. They'll even give you a discount if you show your Point Park ID! Super fresh and tasty food, love that they have vegan options ! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend !Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Amazing food, at a decent price. Coffee was fantastic. Staff was helpful, and friendly. The shop is extremely clean, and well organized.
Love this place. The sandwiches are great, and it's a fast option. They use real sliced meats and sustainable ingredients. I didn't love the banana bread because it was too sweet for me but that's personal preference. The seafood chowder is good. The ribeye sandwich and Bloomfielder are amazing. Service is friendly, and the prices really are reasonable for downtown.
Corner Mercantile is probably one of my favorite places to grab lunch during the work week. The sandwiches are all good and they change a few of them up every so often. The selection of side and drinks to get is also pretty great, and just about anyone can find something that they'll like. Potentially the best part is that you'll have gotten your food and paid all in under 10 minutes. Big part of why I like to grab it on my lunch break.
This is a under-rated place. This quick bite/cafe/lunch spot is the best in a two block. Food is really good! The best thing about this place is that its vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan friendly! Good quality food at a unbelievable price!! Yes go there!!
If you work downtown and are busy, Corner Mercantile is the spot for a quick bite or pick up. They have a wide variety of ready made salads and soups. A revolving menu of ready made hot/cold sandwiches and ready dishes. I like this place because it serves its purpose. I can be in and out in less than 2mn and on with my day.
