So happy we went here! The food was delicious and they give you a lot of it! I ordered a regular latte which had a brown sugar topping which was a nice surprise. I also ordered the BC breakfast but substituted the toast for 1/2 waffles since I had to try them but didn’t want the sugar overkill. I also don’t eat eggs so they were great at letting me substitute for that too. This is definitely a great place to go for breakfast!
BC Breakfast substituted with half waffle was exactly what I craved! So glad we chose this place over The Speckled Egg busy and long wait. The service was great, thanks to our waitress, Sydney. Though their Signature latte and cappuccino was a little too sweet for me but still yummy. The blue berry beer was nice and refreshing.
Great place for breakfast. Super busy, but our server -Zack- did an exceptional job taking care of us. Eggs Benny came with teal crab meat - so good! Great food, good coffee. Highly recommend.
The wait to eat our breakfast was slow but it is reasonable considering that the meals are prepared at the moment. the quantity is a bit small but the taste is simply DELICIOUS and that definitely makes it worth the wait and the price. Personally the best waffles ever tasted local Az and on our travels.Food: 5/5
Everything on this menu is immaculate. I do not say this lightly but genuinely every bite I took was fantastic. The eggs are fluffy, the hash browns have a variety of potatoes that really make them pop, the waffles are soft and sweet, the mimosas are spot on and they offer several flavors. The tea here is also heavenly. Best brunch place I've been to by far.
Went on a sat morning around10am, & it was quite busy but the wait wasn’t too bad about 25min. I had the BLT with a side of breakfast potatoes & my wife had the megaberry waffles & bacon. The wait was definitely worth it. Food was very good. You should add this place on your next visit to Pittsburgh
Was the best omelet I've ever had! The vegetarian delight has roasted tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, feta cheese, red onions, tarragon, and a spicy mayo sauce. It comes with a choice if greens, waffle potato chips, or a combo of 3 types of potatoes. The flavors complemented each other, exploding in my mouth! My husband got the BLT on Texas toast. The top has "ranch dust" toasted into the bread. 6 pieces of bacon, with tomatoes and a tangy mayo, add an egg of your choice. My husband got the homemade potato chips. He loved it. Each plate seemed to be a chef's creation, beautifully presented. Another reviewer mentioned bad service. Maybe they have more staff now, because there were a lot of workers. Mya was our server and you could see she really got joy from dealing with people, and doing this job. We love Cherrys Diner but they were closed, glad they were to find a new spot! We come once a year to see my son. We are thrilled to find a unique, quality place. A MUST visit! Vegetarian options: You can create your own omlettes. Very legible menu.
We were looking for a great breakfast place and we were recommended this place. We walked in and got ourselves a table reserved, had to wait about 15 minutes but they did an awesome text to your phone to let you know that it was ready. That was absolutely amazing because we could go explore a bit. Their service is outstanding and the food is perfection! I would highly suggest everyone tries this place.
First and foremost, our server Michaela was a complete sweetheart. She was very personable, friendly, attentive, and helpful. If it wasn't for her, I would of have rated this place three stars. I did not enjoy this location as much as the Southside location. I was expecting a bit more from this location considering that it's located downtown Pittsburgh. For the amount of money you spend here, you do not get your money's worth. Food comes out in a beautiful presentation that screams eat me and the portion sizes are quite large. The issue is, the food takes a long time to be delivered to your table and once it's delivered, it's lukewarm at best. For the time it took for the food to reach us, I expected my food to be delivered steaming hot. When I ate at the Southside location, I found the food to be absolutely scrumptious. The food at th e downtown location was bland and flavorless. The restaurant presentation and decor is super basic, uninspiring, and cheap looking. We walked at 9:00 a.m. and was sacked immediately. If you come after 10:00 a.m., you will be standing outside waiting for a seat to become available. You are better off eating at McDonald's for breakfast down the street than here.
The service was very questionable. It took awhile to even get a seat at least half an hour and then once we sat down it was an hour after ordering to get our food. I’m pretty sure they just forgot about us since waffles shouldn’t take that long to make…. But once the food was there, the waffle sampling platter, with four different types of waffles, both salty and sweet, was absolutely to die for! Amazing!
