Foremost, all previous posts by members are accurate to what Exchange was at that time. However, recent disagreements (Sept 2017) between the equity owner and head coach have led to a separation, throwing the gym and its member ship into a tail spin. If Exchange doesn't go under from the loss of 60% of its member base, I caution those considering Exchange about disorganized leadership and a history of unauthorized billing. In the immediate wake of the separation, dozens of members were charged out of cycle, myself included. The equity owner has denied making the charges but also has not issued a refund despite repeated requests to do so. My bank is now involved.

I have been a "family member" of CrossFit Exchange since January of 2013!! This group of folks have supported me through so many things and are ALWAYS there to provide whatever motivation and coaching that I might need at that (ever-changing) moment.. The thing I love the most is that EVERYBODY is welcomed - no matter what!! We are all blessed with different talents and abilities and the coaches are able to work with you from the very beginning and help you as you expand into the amazing things you will see yourself accomplish!! An amazing family!!

This gym has changed my life. I've tried out many crossfit gyms in the area before but none have clicked like this one. The people are so friendly and laid back, but they do work when it's go time. I have not only gotten in the best shape of my life under the leadership of John Prescott and the other coaches, but I have also found a second family at this gym. I have been pushed to my limits in the best kind of way. I can't go here and slack off, which I like. John Prescott knows what each athlete is capable of and knows how to push and inspire them to be their best. The atmosphere is the perfect combo of fun and focused. This gym and the family within are literally the best parts of my day. I am so thankful I found this gym!

CFX is one of the most enjoyable gyms I've been to. The coaches are great and personable, while still giving you the direction and experience you desire for each class! As all gyms are a large family, I have felt most at home with this amazing group of people! No matter your fitness level, everyone is very welcoming and met with smiles! I've been a member for five months now and love it more each day. I had just moved to Raleigh and didn't know anyone. The members at CFX have helped me move furniture, shown me around town and made me feel welcome since day one. Couldn't have asked for a better community to be apart of.
