Stopped in on my ride from DC to Pittsburgh. Very friendly staff! The one employee was nice enough to give me several good recommendations for restaurants in town. Nice selection of energy snacks and bike supplies. Free use of air pumps for the bikes. Seems like a good place to have repairs made to your bike.

These guys were terrific, baling me out when I broke two spokes and bent my rear wheel on the C & O riding to the next town. There was no cycle repair shop in town, so the company with which I had arranged my trip put me in touch with these guys. Joe showed up 1st thing the next morning with a mobile repair van containing three choices of of compatible wheels, extra spokes, and even a couple rental bikes so that he could be sure to get me on my way that day. I was all set an hour after he got there. The shuttling fee wasn't cheap, but it was about what I expected when I looked at how remote the north end of the C & O is. If you're riding that part of the C & O, make sure their number is on your phone's contact list.

Really accommodating, gave me a great bike. Did the whole GAP/C&O trail, stopped back in halfway because I was having problems with the seat and they helped me right away.

The owner is very kind and greeted me upon arrival. He helped me order new brakes for my road bike that I plan to install. I like to support local shops and I believe this shop is a good example of a well run bike shop for the area. Other staff may not be as attentive to your needs but I feel this comes more with the territory of bike bros with mustaches and tattoos than the shop itself. Overall, initial meh experience made great with a second visit.
