I went to several bike stores on my quest to get a new mountain bike.  Most of the other stores did not take the time to answer my questions and really talk with me about bikes.  Tom spent 2.5 hours answering every question that I had and I walked out the door with an awesome new bike.  Highly recommend this place.  Thanks all!

Mr Roger Rinker is an amazing person who really knows what he is talking about. Not only did he finish the job four days ahead of schedule, he went above and beyond. I was working with a budget and I had told him of my budget before he started his work. During his work he noticed few things that needed a little bit more attention and he made sure he did them to make the bicycle safe and ready for use. He did not charge extra but did it so the bike was ready to go and I could continue my training. If I could rate 6 stars I would because every employee at this location goes above and beyond to make sure customer satisfaction. Will return for sure and will recommend to all my friends and colleagues!

I bought a Specialized Cross-trail which I love. The staff is very helpful. Ended up buying my wife and daughter the vita and they have no complaints a year in. If you enjoy riding, don’t waste your time or money on a big box store bike. They will discourage you from enjoying riding in the long run.

Best bicycle shop in Frederick! Roger, Tom and staff are over the top small business friendly! This is the only place I will ever buy a bike! I've bought bikes from all 3 shops in Frederick and they are the only place I will go too! Your wasting your money if you go somewhere else!

I recently bought a bike at The Bicycle Escape and had a great experience! I haven't ridden a bike since I was young and knew nothing about what I was looking for. They took the time to explain and answer all questions I had. I even got to test the bike out to make sure it was right for me. Since we had such a fantastic experience and I am enjoying riding, I returned with my husband to buy a new bike for him. He too, had not ridden in years and was full of questions. Everyone at the shop was helpful in answering questions. He too tried out and fell in love with a bike. It didn't end there, however, my husband had questions about accessories and they took the time to walk him through the options. We also got the chance to see interactions with other customers and saw how friendly and inviting everyone was in the store. What a warm and inviting feeling the store provides. You cannot say that about too many places these days. Thank you to The Bicycle Escape, we will be back!
