Came in here with high hopes, but left a little disappointed. We have recently moved to the area and brought in one of our bikes for service. The gears were shifting a little rough and the disc brakes were rubbing a bit. I worked in a bike shop for 5 years in college and would have done the maintenance myself, but I hadn't moved my tools yet. When we walked in we were not greeted by anyone and stood around waiting for service. After one of the workers came to help us I explained what was going on with the bike and he told me that I would need a $75 tune-up. I questioned if the bike really needed all of that service, and he insisted that it did. I wish that he would have at least looked at the bike before giving me a price, as I really thought it only needed a few quick adjustments. I agreed to the mechanics recommendations and we went to look around the store. I was hoping to see more women's bikes and nobody came out to help us which again was disappointing. I will say that the bike was ready to be picked up less than 24 hour after we dropped it off, and I do appreciate that... but again it makes me question how much work was actually done on the bike. Overall, I expect a little better customer service from a small local bike shop. I may use their service again simply because they are the only Giant/Liv retailer in the Oak Park area and I know that I can trust the quality of Giant products. I will update if I visit again.

I've been there a handful of times and they've always gone above and beyond for me. I took my bike there after several years of sitting in a shed exposed to the elements and they did an amazing job fairly cheap. I just brought in my bike after some fairly poor DIY repair and did the repair as I waited and even gave me a discount on a set of pedals I needed. 

I whole heartedly recommend the shop, they are all super friendly, knowledgeable and have always steered me right.

Truth be told i love this place especially since they let the world's 2 cutest dogs roam around. Bike talk now. HUGE SELECTION OF BIKES they have almost everything you need really. The price is right to be honest. I bought my Carnnondale here about 2 years ago now still works like a charm. They worl fast if you have a flat tire that needs to be fixed. Low guest traffic so they are pleased to help and answer questions. It seems fully family owned from what I've seen. Great vibes 2 full rooms full of bikes. Great selection of clothing and accessories. From safety to keeping your bike locked down they got it. They are easy to spot of a store. I love this place but im sorry here comes why i gave it a 4star rating. There is one particular employee i seem to always get attitude from everytime i came here for simple things from tune ups,flats or even just some quick air for my tire. Other than him the rest of the employees treat you right witb knowledge as well.

Bought a $650 bike even though the handle bars were too short. Dan said try it if I don't like it he can put on an extension. I take it back in to get the extension but Dan isn't there and the person who waited on me told me it would be $250 for that. I told him no and went to Morello's bike shop in Brookfield. He installed an extension for $40. Dan didn't even tell me that this bike had a different air valve and I have not been able to fill the tires since it went flat. Don't go here.

The service guys are always Super helpful.  They replaced the bottom bracket in 1/2 day!  Now my fatty rides Great!  They have expanded the store and they have a nice selection for Road, BMX, Mountain and Crusers.  I'm glad they are in my neighborhood.
