Best RV Park in Needles. I love everything about this park, from the cleanliness to great friendly people. Pet are allowed, which if you are a pet lover like I am. This is a plus, and they even have a dog run! So much shade at each camp site to cool you off in the summer time. The pool is my favorite for the hot beautiful days during summer. Very nice Club House with a pool table, and a satellite TV with all sport channels. The Host are very kind friendly, and offer great Sam Discount!

If you are traveling through Needles I would stay here! The spaces are large and private with shade. Clean bathrooms in the pool area. I'm glad they are pet friendly with a dog run area. The new camp hosts are very friendly.

First of all, Desert View RV Resort is a park for motorized recreational vehicles (i.e., motor homes). That being said, it is a quiet, pleasant place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and eill help you eith jist about anything you need. The location is right off Hwy. 40, on Old National Trail, also known as Route 66. Once you check in, you will have an escort to your spot. The pull-thru spot we have is level and wide, with tall oleander bushes on either side, and a small shade tree. As far as amenities, the pool is small and rectangular. There is a hall with a full kitchen, and an activity room. It is by the pool and has board games, ping pong, and basketball. The bathrooms are clean, a big indicator for me! There's a map that you can put a pin in to show where you hail from. The laundry room is on the other side of the rec room. It is clean, well maintained, and has very reasonable prices. Shopping is better right across the bridge over the Colorado River in Arizona. The gas and grocery prices in AZ are much lower and worth the short trip. Within 15 miles up 95 you can find a Safeway with gas pumps, a Smith's (my favorite) with gas pumps, Target, Ross, Marshall's, Famous Footwear, Cato, Walmart, nail spas, hair salons, and a US Post Office. Trader Joe's and Winco are in Las Vegas, a doable day trip. Do be cautious where you stand, as there are small red ant mounds. In the heat of the day you won't find much life, but if you explore the desert at night, rattlesnakes may be out. They avoid populated areas and likely won't come into the park. A great little RV park, away from the noise and crowds at the River.

110 degrees and each spot has a great amount of shade....
Welcomed by Bill (& Brutus, his big Lab cross dog) he sorted us out quickly and efficiently. Told us where everything was.
Pool was great, warm but refreshing. Site is well maintained and hosts multiple permanent residents as well as transient ones.
Dominos will deliver to the site as well (for those who want a lazy dinner)

I think this is the best park after traveling the country. Most parks have the vehicles getting broadsided by the sun. This is the most shade I have ever seen and privacy! Extra Clean Restrooms and Clubhouse! Lots of games like Table Tennis, Bean Bag Toss, Pool, Darts, Puzzles, Cards. This place has everything! I loved cooking in the Clubhouse full kitchen and very nice laundry as well! Thanks Desert View!
