I recently moved to Florida and thought it would be great to patronize a local hardware store rather than a big box chain store. Boy, was I wrong. I came in with a list of about a dozen things I needed. A salesperson greeted me and I started to tell her what I needed. She stopped me and said I better talk to another person. He led me to the area where the electrical items were and when I asked a second question he meandered away and never returned. I then found a third person who seemed to be in charge. I told him I needed a garage hook but I didn't think the ones he had would have an anchor that matched. He said, "YOU FIND A HOOK AND I'LL FIND AN ANCHOR. I found a hook. He spent 10 minutes looking for an anchor and eventually admitted he did not have one. This kind of thing went on with slight variations for everything I needed. I felt like I had bothered them by just walking in the door. Needless to say I won't be back.

One of the best hardware stores I've been too! The people here are so helpful and knew exactly what I needed to help me hang a few pictures, as well as paint my living room.

Terrible customer service. The man in the paint department was rude and condescending. The front cashier just handed me a receipt and never put my purchases in a bag--I did it myself. Wanted to shop "local" but will probably make the trip to Home Depot in the future.
