My experience at Diamond Tavern Restaurant was stellar! During a business trip to Baltimore, I stayed at the Hilton Baltimore and was pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful hotel restaurant. My first impression was how friendly the staff is there! I was seated immediately and given a variety of great recommendations for dinner and drinks. The crab cake entree was delicious and highly recommended. They have a full bar including some local craft beer options, which is always a nice touch. Overall, I most appreciated the fine dining experience paired with the casual ambiance. I look forward to going back to the Diamond Tavern Restaurant on my next trip back to Baltimore. New favorite!

Poorly managed restaurant. Wait staff was very slow and non-responsive. We ate there a few times during our 4 day stay. Each time it was the same. Sit and wait 5-10 minutes on a server to come by; order the food and wait 40+ minutes on that; finish your food and wait another 10 minutes on someone to come by to ask for the check: wait another 5 minutes on the check. 
We went in one evening for dinner because we wanted to stay within the hotel due to weather. We were seated and handed a xeroxed sheet of paper with a list of sandwiches and salads. We asked where the full dinner menu posted at the door was, and the hostess told us that they were not using that because they were too busy. ...???... The restaurant may have been seated at 50% capacity. I also think that it is in very poor taste to hand a customer a Xeroxed copy of a menu on a sheet of paper that is wrinkled up from overuse when you are charging 25-35$ for each dish. ...just poor taste. The food was very average despite the fact that they charged you like you were at some fine dining establishment, and the food and level of service was no where near that level.

The new-to-menu crab soup is out of this world amazing. Wonderful and attentive service. Very nice selection of liquor. Nice place for a special evening out.

Brunch served every day. It was late(about 10:50 am)morning, but I wanted breakfast. There was fresh-cut fruit, smoothies, oatmeal, cold cereal, scrambled eggs; roasted, quarter-cut red potatoes; bacon, sausage, muffins, croissants, fresh squeezed orange juice, and hot Guatemalan coffee! All of this and more for a few bucks. I had a couple of appointments in DC, but with that heasrty breakfast; I was good the rest of the day. Thanks Darnell!

My wife and I tried to stop in for food and to ask to see a menu. Staff walked right past us multiple times without asking if we have been helped. This happened even after asking for their attention as they walked by. It is very insulting so we just left.
