This place is truly one of my favorite restaurants in this city.  The food is  Prepared with care.  The wait staff Is very respectful and  greets you with a smile and surely want you to have a wonderful meal.  When it's all said and done and you have thoroughly enjoyed your meal.  Their wonderful smiles let you know that they are pleased that you enjoyed something they take such pride in making. The atmosphere is perfect dimly lit, Ethiopian jazz playing and the people are wonderful having nice conversations around you. With no pretense the food is spectacular,coffee wonderful.
 If you call yourself a true minneapols urban dweller this place is a must experience restaurant. Late night hours, open till 2:00 a.m. You truly feel like you are part of their family when you leave.

It was very quiet on a Thursday night. Seated immediately, food is very good and it was an interesting experience to eat with our hands. Hostess and owner both came by very often to check up on our table, appreciate the personal touch they added. We were not very comfortable using our hands to eat, so they brought us utensils

Had a Groupon coupon.  Went late with toddlers.  The staff was helpful and friendly.  Best Ethiopian I've had in years.   LOTS of good food per serving.  We took ours family style and had too much left over.

We really like Dillas. The staff are very accommodating and even gave us some extra sauces. They do a great job with gluten free options. Dillas is quickly becoming our go-to place.

Great authentic Ethiopian restaurant. We had no wait for a table at 4pm on a Friday. The waitress was friendly and our food came out quickly. We ordered the vegetarian sample platter and it was more food than two people could possibly eat. It tasted amazing! The sambusas were delicious as was the salsa dip. The prices were reasonable and finding parking wasn't too difficult. I would absolutely eat here again.
