I adore this park! It offers many hidden gems and micro ecosystems. I use it for trail running, searching out new gems and for meditation. I do wish people would be more responsible with there foot placement and litter. I have seen several Pitcher Plants crushed and stomped along the lower creek path on the blue trail and a few water bottles left as well Mr. Don Robinson loved his land and would be upset seeing it being treated this way.

What a gorgeous park! I can't wait until spring - it's going to be so amazing. The trail markings need some work, but the trail itself is great. The 4 mile Sandstone Canyon Trail is open right now is moderate with a few steep hills and some easy water crossings. Plenty of picnic areas and my favorite - boot brushes!!! The deck/day use area by the Don Robinson house is going to have a killer view come spring. The rocking chairs are a lovely touch!

What a treasure! Wonderful bird and plant life. The trails are rugged enough to create a challenge but accessible for kids. The box canyons are incredible micro-ecosystems.
