I grew up going to and loving this park. It's one of my very favorite places! In addition to hiking trails, they have picnic areas that are peaceful enough for doing yoga or for hanging with family and friends doing lunch. The pretty drive through the park gives you an opportunity to spot elk, deer, raccoons, wild turkeys, bison...the list can go on and on! Visit this park for sure!

Great place to take the kids it's free and has animals. You can drive through to see elk buffalo and deer. The bird sanctuary is here as well which is also free. You can walk through and see all the birds and they have added a small playground. Sometimes they have free shows. Fun thing to do with the kids when you are trying to do something in a budget. Always enjoy seeing the animals.

Such a cool place. Especially for photographers, Im able to get up close and personal with the wildlife, that's such a cool feeling. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great activity. The world bird sanctuary is also a fantastic place. Check out some of the photos I took there!

Very calm and serene place to visit. Kids would enjoy to see Elks and Bisons in the open. The only issue going in Oct time of the year is that it's mating season for elk and you are not suggested to venture out. The Bison trail is good view, but it's steep uphill and if there are Bisons around u have to have a vehicle with better tire grips on to maintain traction.
