Great Park with many trsils for hiking, biking and horseback. So many areas with grills and tables and ball fields. Lots of parking and it's never overcrowded. Camping sites and shelters can be reserved. However some shelters and the swimming pool facilities are permanently closed.

Probably my favorite state park in Missouri (and I've been to a lot). The visitor center is a fun place to stop in to, the campground is wonderful, and there's amazing trails throughout the park. It's pretty secluded with dense forests all around. Several nice pavilions that can be reserved, bathrooms, ball fields, etc.

When there during January. Quiet with level pads. Electric only sites. I will stop here again when near St Louis.

This is such a gorgeous state park. My husband and I are from Oklahoma and scheduled our first vacation to line up with the total solar eclipse. My husband was so excited to experience this. After some research, I found the park was hosting an event. They had activities, a food truck, and sold solar eclipse glasses for those of us who came unprepared (like me). All the park rangers were friendly and helpful. They even rode around in a golf cart checking on people since the weather was quite sunny and warm. You could tell this event was very well organized. It took a lot of the stress and worry out for us, especially since we have never been there before. We had fantastic front row seats to an amazing celestial event. I am so happy we chose to Babler Memorial State Park. If we ever go that way again, we will definitely make a stop there.
