Great inventory, they had just the truck I've been looking for, but beyond that, I have some bones to pick with this place. What do you mean, Morgan? So glad you asked, please read on! But first, a quick disclaimer: I'm truly not writing this to chastise this dealership. I'm writing this in hopes that I can help others feel in control if they visit, and (hopefully) come out on top and leave with a sweet new ride. Because lets face it: most dealerships are, well, shady. Dublin Toyota is no exception. For those short of time, here are some pro tips for dealing with this place (if you must): - Arm yourself with research and knowledge around high pressure sales tactics and scams before stepping foot on the property (you should for any dealership, of course). They will run the gamut; come prepared. - Know exactly what you want, because the sales person will likely not know their product (read below). - If you're not buying in cold hard cash, please, I beg you, come with your own financing (more on that below as well). - Read all the fine print (yes, it sucks, but it's a must) and ask too many questions. You'll be glad you did. In my case, the sales manager didn't know much about the truck she was trying so hard to sell. I've been looking to buy a Tacoma for years, but as a test, I asked what the towing capacity was. She couldn't tell me, nor could she tell me things like the terms of warranty, and instead diverted to some trivial features like the mirrors being able to bend backwards and the sliding rear window (wow, my mind is blown!). 'I move metal, I don't deal with paperwork,' was her response to my questions. Very comforting. After long negotiations and a rate you think you've settled, then you get to talk to financing. Just like the sales manager, they tried, and in my case unfortunately succeeded, to up-sell me on several other products and services, and include it in a lower rate. This all sounds great --and too good to be true, because, spoiler alert: it is -- until a few weeks later you get a notice in the mail that your contract has been rescinded, the offered rate can't be financed (because no financial institution in their right mind will finance that low, even for candidates with excellent credit), and that you need to come back to the dealership and renegotiate a new contract (just what I want to do on my weekend!). This is a tactic to get you to add on thousands of dollars worth of extras and they are allowed to because it's in the fine print. When I went in to resolve this, the finance manager I first dealt with conveniently no longer worked there, but on the positive side, this was an opportunity to remove all the add-ons that got us in this mess in the first place. In the end, things shook out okay, but this was frankly one of the most dubious buying experiences I've ever had. I held off writing this for nearly a month to make sure I wasn't saying anything out of anger, but I can't hold my tongue on this one. I'm uneasy about the fact that I'll be stuck with them for the foreseeable future, but hopefully this review helps others have a better experience. Stay strong, you've got this! Good luck!

Customer servixe from the management of Dublin Toyota is absolute pathetic and I don't see any honesty from them. Initially I have selected new SE seinna model for buying and it is already past closing time at that day..so we both mutually agreed to sign the papers in next day morning and even I have got a call from their salesman next day morning at 9:15 that car is ready and I said I am ready to take the car and reached there by 9:30 and when I am filling the papers, my salesman said, car which I have selected has been sold to another customer for which they got a better deal (including some trade in old car) through another salesman from the same team. I am very much disappointed and even my salesman also disappointed with his management team to do like this. He apologized to me and I did not show my frustration at that time and have started selecting another model from their inventory patiently. Only one LE model with some 1600 miles was available and I was told that this is a demo car and that's why 1600 miles, but it is a new car. I have asked the salesman specifically 3 times whether I will be the first owner and he also checked with his management team about this and confirmed that I will be first owner. So I have signed papers for credit check and once credit check is approved, went to their finance desk and at that time I have again asked about the ownership and he told that it's a 2nd ownership as 1st owner returned this car due to financial problems, but they are giving as new car. At this point, my frustration has reached peak and they lied about ownership the whole time...specifically 3 times. Even my salesman not aware of this ownership issue and I have blasted them verbally with all my might and they are not even ready for any apologizing or realizing their mistake. They are like this is part of some usual business. I never experienced such a lousy, pathetic, dishonest customer service from anywhere in the world. Because of Dublin Toyota dealer, I even started hating Toyota brand and hence I ended buying Honda model eventually. Till this experience, my favorite brand was toyota. Now totally it has been changed...and I am not sure how Toyota even deals with this type of disgraceful dealer management. Dublin Toyota management should seriously retrospect themselves if they want to succeed in this service oriented industry.

Horrible experience here. Bought a certified pre-owned Pius with broken radio and a couple of other issues. They told me to bring the car to have it fixed and after 4 days, my car is still there, waiting for the damn radio to arrive. Why don’t call me when it’s there???? Why don’t give me a rental car in the meantime? I also left review on Yelp and a robot replied it giving me a phone number that no one answers. Is that a joke or what???

I scheduled a service regarding a solenoid recall. We went our way to make the appointment only to find out they ran out of the part. Would have been nice if they called and informed us ahead of time (or didn't schedule us at all if they knew they're out of inventory.) Thanks Dublin Toyota! What a way to waste our time.
