I'd be very fair and admit that they are nothing less than professional. But lacks warmth. I dunno if it's the whole German thing, but you feel like you walked into a place manned (!) by Androids and not humans. Well yeah they smile at you, they do what they're supposed to do and nothing more, sometimes even a little less. I had to ask and wait for an explanation of the work performed after a service, which might be okay with some folks who would just get out of there as quick as they can, but I'm a bit old school here. I like to know exactly what going on with my car, what they'd recommend and why, and maybe even a little chit chat about something like, I dunno, cars, maybe. As you can imagine, I dread the future of driverless cars and monthly car subscription service, so this might well be headed in the right direction. What do I know!

Terrific New Car Buying Experience

I would definitely buy another BMW here!

I have bought several BMWs from other dealers in the Bay Area but this was my first at East Bay BMW! It was such a positive, straight-forward and easy process! I worked with Jason Burger and Matthew Allen to do an European Delivery. The process has many steps and can be a bit tricky. But Jason is very knowledgeable and help to educate me on the process. He was very responsive to my questions. Matt handled the final delivery and was great! I met with the BMW Geniuses to get me set up in the car. Antonio and Andrew were awesome and very helpful!

If you want to be charged at least twice as much as other local mechanics this is your place. I went in after my car had a coolant leak and just to diagnose they charged me $198. After they found the problem they said to service my car it would cost $600 (just for the labor) not including the cost of the parts. I went to a European mechanic who is charging me $400 for parts and service... The reason I am giving them a 1 star is due to their shady business. I brought my car in for the diagnostic in the morning and they let me know they would be able to look at it maybe that day or the next. After an hour I decided I wanted to check elsewhere. So I called the shop and told them there is no need to diagnose my car and I would come back to pick it up. The serviceman on the phone said no problem we have not diagnosed it yet and you will not have to pay. It took me 15 minutes drive to the service department, and when I asked for my keys they told me I owed them $198 for the diagnostic. I obviously was confused and tried to fight the charge but ended up giving in just so I could leave. I will never come back to this service department as well as buy a car from such a shady business.

I came for a scheduled maintenance service and was happy with my experience. I was able to book my appointment online and pick the services needed. I dropped my car off, around 10a, spoke to the SA, and then headed out. They didn't have a loaner, so I was ready to take the van service. In the end, they offered a car service to drop me off, which worked out well. Overall, the service was done on time and as expected.

Greedy company, still making payments & insurance on a Mini that hasn't ran in over a year. Wanted to pay it off, but of course they won't take off any finance charges. Even after I showed them thousands of dollars in Hospital bills from a Blood Clot in my abdomin. It's always about the money 🤑
