Downstairs office was definitely busy especially during mid day. I was in a crisis situation and let them know ,and they took special care of my needs. They went above and beyond my expectations as a walk in client down on her luck, they even made sure my two babies were safe and well cared for. They do their best at their job and I'm glad we went in. Thank you so much to everyone who helped our family make it ! God Bless!

There are telephones for a reason, and having 80 numbers all running through the same loop ending in no assistance is ridiculous. Everybody can't just pick up and run to stand in line.

The Henderson office of the Nevada State Welfare Division on Boulder Hwy near Basic Road has some of the nicest and most caring professionals from the front office staff up to the director. Everyone who works at this office really seems to care about the current and future welfare of those in need, especially those of us with little children who have little choice but to depend on the state to help us to get all the benefits we need and qualify for. Nevada is a great state but not as rich as most other states. The people at the Henderson Welfare office have proven to be helpful, caring, knowledgable and very good at what they do. Helpful hint, whenever you require benefits, whether food stamps, medical, housing or help paying utility bills, smile in spite of everything and learn to use first names whenever possible and comfortable. It helps.
