Story

E & G Amish Furniture is a Family owned and operated Company, created by Earlene and Greg Landwehr. The Landwehrs’ have called Texas their home since 1995. They are originally from a small town in Ohio, where there is a prominent Amish community with many Amish craftsman that build high quality solid wood furniture.

After Moving to Texas, Earlene and Greg searched long and hard for quality solid wood furniture to add to their new home. Realizing there were limited furniture companies in Houston offering high quality furniture, the Landwehrs’ decided to open an Amish furniture store in 2003. They were introduced to the idea of selling Amish Furniture by Gregs' mother, Jane Landwehr. Jane still lives in Ohio and has been selling Amish Furniture out of her home for the last 15 years.

Earlene and Greg opened their first store in Clear Lake, offering over 80 Amish craftman builders from Ohio and Indiana. They provide furniture for your Bedroom, Dining Room, Living Room and Office, with the mission to bring small town customer service with a high quality product at the lowest price. They have since expanded, opening an additional store in Sugar Land in 2009, making their company the Largest Amish Furniture showroom in Houston. Between the two stores there is a combined 22,000 square feet of showroom floor. Earlene and Greg operate and sell furniture at the original store in Clear Lake; their kids, James, Amanda and Bobby, operate their Sugar Land store. Their goal is to make customers feel welcomed and appreciated with highest level of customer service.
