Horrible Customer Service in Fine Jewelry. I had to wait a total of 2 hours before my order was found. One hour on one day, I left without my item being found. I came back the next day and had to wait before the ring was found. I was told that the item had not been checked in by the store manager, Joe,as was procedure. Katherine in Fine Jewelry did manage to locate the ring. After my ordeal, I decided the ring was not worth it. J.C.Penney is not a good place to shop.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I definitely would . I came in trying to return some things and had a hard time doing so. I spoke with a "gentleman" named Joe, who is the manager, and explained to him what was going on. I told him I had lost my card and the card was closed, and I was trying to return items that were purchased with that card. I told him I had already ordered a new card and was asking if I brought the new card which would have a different card number, if it would be okay to return the money to the new card even tho it has a different card number. Joe kept on interrupting and asking "what do you want me to do" in a very annoyed tone. I told him I was simply asking if when I get that new card if I can get the money on that card even tho it was a different card number. He was very rude about the whole situation. Never again coming here !

The worst negative shopping interaction at this location and poor management. A guy by the name of JOE who was the manager on staff this day. He is very incompetent on performing his job. After purchasing a quite few items on Black Friday day. I realized an item was not marked down as specified on the sale tag for $69.99. So my bf and I went back to the store to re -verify the price of the Christmas tree because we originally paid 143.99. We decided to exchange the item for a different model tree around 69.99$. This led to a customer associate error and a big mess because that idiot employee named ANNA accused my bf of swapping our tree for a different type. Which does not make any sense because we had our receipt showing PROOF OF PURCHASE, the item on the receipt matches the bar code on box. After she took the receipt away from my bf the associate went straight to management. While I waiting in that huge line. My bf stood waiting with the tree near the cashiers. Long story short the manager refused to exchange the tree we bought for another model. Due to accusations, it was ridiculous. I will make a complaint to corporate. We walked away with our bought tree and receipt. This was a huge inconvenience.

The manager here is very unprofessional, I believe his name is Joe. Very impatient when all I was doing was asking him a question. If he had a bad day he should have stayed home, and not go off on customers that shop at his store. Definitely not shopping here in the future.

Just came back from JC penny and realized they didn’t pack one of my presents in my bag. Before I leave, I have asked the cashier to plse have everything in my bag and also take out all the metals out so it would not ring on me but unfortunately he left out that one. I called the store and spoke to the manager name Joan...she spoke to me and stated she couldn’t do anything to help me but when I asked how to rate them...she put me on hold for a long long time. What a customer service. I own a small business too, I do not treat my customers this way. If I can rate ZERO it would be better. Of course they don’t really care of how I rated them because it is not their own store but they should care more of how they treated their customers because they might go out of job too.
