I wanted to convert my Trek Tandem so I stopped by and talked to Jason the owner he was very helpful he helped me pick out the right kit to convert my bike. I really had a good experience and I'm enjoying my bike. It's so much fun! I'll be back! As I have other bikes to convert.

I purchased a Burly kit for a Trek mountain bike. Knowing little about ebikes, Jason has been very helpful in answering all my questions before and after the install, which I did myself. I have had the kit for about two months now with over 200 miles of use. Had one warranty claim but that looks to be minor and not much of an inconvenience for me. Great thing about EBO is that you can customize the kit and they will actually answer the phone to help. May look at another kit in the future. Happy with service and product.

I ordered the Phantom kit and put it on an aluminum mountain bike frame (rear wheel). I also chose the LED controller, instead of the LCD, as to make the bike less conspicuous. Few people notice the system. I mentioned to one older lady that the bike had a motor on it - she laughed, thinking I was joking. Disc brake hides motor well. I took the bike through a desert national park road, where there were long inclines, high winds, and quite the distance to travel. The bike did really well. It made things that would have been impossible, possible. I used the assist when facing strong winds or long inclines, which was pretty often. I was able to do around 40 miles total in the park (20 in, 20 out), which was pretty good considering the challenging conditions. Sleek; fairly easy to install (took me 2-3 hours to install and recalibrate the bike's mechanics); substantial assist (as it is a hub motor, might need to pedal a bit on steep hills). hills; and super fun to use. I use it to get to work in a hot climate, so I'm not drenched on arrival. I'm 160 lbs and feel that the 350w motor is sufficient for most tasks. I'm not sure how fast I cruise, as I bought the LED display, but it is definitely a substantial clip! I'm fairly new to ebikes, but I consider this kit to be a very good value. I would recommend.
