Everyone involved was so helpful and made the process really streamlined and efficient. Micheal, Joe and Nigel were the people that I met and they all were extremely courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this location for all Galveston car rentals, especially for those taking cruises and those needing to commute to Houston airports.

We were part of a cruise queue, which I feel that they handled quite well.  But the car I was given to drive, and return to the port to pick up my husband, was dirty, had only 1/4 tank of gas and its AC ran noisily only on high.  I called to report it and we returned to exchange for a lovely little car.  That was Nov 10, 2917.  Today, on Dec 19, 2017 we receive a call that the first nasty car was keyed and dented badly, and they wanted us to explain it.  Interesting that it was inspected and okay when we exchanged it.  They are calling back to pursue it more, saying that the damage was found at its next location.  So what happened to that car between their lot and the next location is the best question.  Bad form!

Check out and check in was easy and fast and the staff was efficient.  The vehicle was clean and in good condition and performed well.  When I returned the vehicle, the price charged was higher than what I had been quoted when I checked it out.  They said I would have to call the other location to adjust.  Seems simple enough to me, especially since everything is online, to be consistent in pricing.  It cost me way more than the rental for the one way fee, but I had no other choice.  Plus, the gas tank was not full when I got the vehicle but I saw no notation of that, so I returned it full.  A somewhat disappointing experience overall, but I'd still rent from them again since they are the only game in town.

People were easy to deal with however.....I dropped a car off in Galveston and the Galveston branch told me the IAH branch would handle all of the paperwork and change of drop off location. I then received daily calls and emails about enterprise not receiving the car. When I talked to customer service about the change of drop off location, they told me to call back with my reference number which I did not have because I was traveling.
