I'd post zero stars if I could, he's grumpy, tells you one price then charges double the quote, and to top it off things seem to have disappeared after he left. 
Had him install a filtration system in place of another, and when he was finished he took the other system with him, seems like not a big deal but it was a new system from a new construction, and was after all " not his property"

Ernie Betz does not know plumbing code, has no regard for the property of others, and in general is a disrespectful grumpy old asse. He will ruin your home and once the damage is done will take no responsibility. He is on probation with the State of NC for failure to comply with plumbing code and obtaining building permits. For questions please contact the NC State Department of Examiners of Plumbing, heating and air.
