The hotel is nice a d comfortable, the stuff is extremely helpful, breakfast is basic but served hot and tasty, room service is good. The dining room is always open, where you have a free Starbucks coffee, herbal tea and green tea. You can order food from nearby restaurants via the front desk. A homely atmosphere hotel with one major problem - the nearest subway station is 15 min away by walk. They do have a free shuttle service every half an hour, but when you get to wait for it in -10 centigrade with no reasonable cover, you tend to forget all the other benefits of this hotel. I recommend it for budget customers, not during an extreme climates.

Would not go here ever again.  The location is in the middle of an industrial area.  Did not feel safe leaving the hotel after dark.  It's cheap so if that is your goal great but not worth it in my opinion.  They have a shuttle to take you to the nearest train station, but I did not use it.

*BE AWARE*This property became a homeless shelter and receptionist won’t tell you that! I checked in a couple of days ago and this fat lady in front of me stank like thousands of hell. Now I understand why they won’t allow us to stay on the upper floors (reserved for the homeless). Aside from that my cousin wanted to book a room for April 25th but what in the lord these prices went over roof! $424 per night!? Please do yourself a favor and for safety and start looking elsewhere worth of that money.

I WISH THAT THERE WERE -Minus STARS or NO STARS!  As a Platinum member with Marriott I feel obligated to give a negative comment. Have stayed there several times and every time I overlooked minor and some mayor details... I was traveling on business and it was just me traveling alone.  This time my family and children were affected and I believe that everyone should know about it.  I will post this same message in every social media possible so that nobody has to experience it.  THE SHUTTLE SERVICE  !  After making the arrangements and the calls to the hotel,  my family and children were basically forgotten as the shuttle never arrived; waiting for over one hour, they were forced to walk back in the rain.  I will not ever reserve at this hotel and urge anyone traveling that is considering this Marriott Property to overlook it  and look elsewhere, around Queensboro Plaza, as it is poorly managed and the shuttle that they have is not what is supposed to be at all.  I wish there were consequences....

Service was great and the staff was accommodating. The location is in a more industrial area of Queens, though I didn't feel unsafe walking to the hotel from the subway station late at night. Probably would not recommend walking around late by yourself, however. The room was quite small as expected, but it had everything we needed and was clean. Bed was nice, though the TV struggled with some channels as it was using analog. All in all, a good budget place to stay if you can get the rooms for around a $100 but not a whole lot more, and the complimentary breakfast is a nice benefit as well.
