There are always food trucks here and the park itself is an okay spot to sit if your office is nearby. I prefer Lafayette if you are willing to walk a few more blocks but this is workable. They also do a lot of events here during the summer evenings if you like hanging out after work in the city but aren't ready to drink right after the end of the day.

Clean area right in the center of lots of action. Good little landmark to keep you in tuned with where you were while roaming a bit.

Very busy and a lot of homeless people. The park is well kept. Plenty of food place and activities around the park.

Admiral David G. Farragut statue and the park are a nice place to visit if you are touring the city on foot. Washington DC is full with civil war monuments, it is very interesting to check them on a sunny day.

A block away from the white house. Business district area. There are daily protest at this. Excellent bus lines stops around the park. There are many good trucks that park around side of the park everyday. There are a few vendors along the side walk in this area
