It was free to park my car last January 2017. Really nice walk that I guess the people that live there are so used to it that it's not observed the same way. Lots of large black squirrels running around. Everyone I spoke to were amazing, helpful, polite. Nice change from Florida! My daughter got to pet Jango, the security dog that sniffs every car driving into the White house. It was obvious we love animals especially dogs ;) it was a very positive experience that I recommend to any peaceful person that poses no threat to the United States of America!

A true expression of democratic access. I'm a fan of this place. Get in touch with your representative to get a tour. There are a lot of rooms with historic content to see. Don't miss out on being in a building every president except Washing has lived in. The American experience is here.

Kiwi view: best place to see the White House from front on. But disappointing that it's so far away. And West Wing is hidden by trees. Is this freedom? Very easy to just walk there and take photos. Good starting place for a walk down the Mall to the other monuments and then the museums. In winter they have the National Christmas Tree there which is not much but the kids liked the model trains

I’m a DC native and walk by presidents park all the time however I’ve never stopped and actually took in the scenery like many other DC natives! I marched by this park during the women’s march of 2019 and can safely say that it’s beautiful! Whenever I have I have friends come to town I’ll definitely have them check out presidents park!

Beautiful Christmas display this year. LED lights, and trees from around the states. Seeing the monuments and the White House from there was a treat. Definitely do this if you get a chance!
