It's been 5 years and I am still suffering the consequences of how badly they messed up my SUV. To begin.. 

1) I went there for an oil change and drove home with no oil and a service engine light. It turns out they didn't plug the oil drain plug tight enough and all of the oil escaped. 

2) I go back there and now I have alternator issues and have to replace my gasket. The gasket took TWO days to replace. That was five years ago. Today I find out that they did a bad job at replacing it and now there are internal issues. 

3) Oh.. that bad alternator I had to TOW my SUV for and get replaced, well they replaced it with another bad alternator and during a road trip my car dies in the middle of the road. Why? Because my alternator gave out and killed my battery. 2nd tow.

4) Lastly, they broke my fan shroud during the gasket operation and just didn't bother to tell me. Instead, they zip tied it and called it good. If the fan shroud were to come off and land on my engine fan... well now we have an engine problem. And we know how expensive engine projects can be.

Just don't go here. This place is a joke. The manager is a joke who doesn't care about their guests. I spoke with him myself.

Unfortunately I can't give less than one star. This first one on Main Post Fort Lewis was absolutely clueless. I brought my truck in for an inspection and to see if I had missed anything. Before taking my truck in to them (I had just did a full tune up plugs wires oil change and filter fuel filter pcv valve brand new exhaust and new ignition system also had brand new tires and an alignment) and when I got the truck back a hour later..... *laughs* they said I needed about 3500 dollars worth of work including tuneup new tires alignment for the tires new brakes drums   and they needed to fix my radiator due to the non existent leak. This place will rob you blind. I called in the next day to confirm everything on the paper and they said all of it was what they saw. I started to laugh and told the guy everything I had just done and he said I don't think so...... do not go to this Firestone on Main post.

Recommend not to patronize this specific  Store. Take your complaints up with the Post Leadership Command (Post or Garrison CSM). From experience it's been 70/30 credible rating more on the negative side. Yes, they are convenient being on Post. However, from past visits, it is apparent they do and are taking the Soldiers money and yet repair services is poor. Having spent $7,000(+) within three years, from tires to major services and later to find out the vehicle problems persist or something was not done/fixed right, then they try to over charge again for repairing their cause and poor service and repairs, pathetic really. Customer service is, be nice up front then take ones money, and at various times witnessing customer complain in the Store on just about the same issues. AAFES has made it easy to manipulate/scam the Soldiers/Airmen on Post for many of these businesses whom operate within, and AAFES is partly to blame, call it pocket money politics. Firestone for the most part "can be trusted" and an alright company, but to its own choosing. INVICTUS.

I am a soldier stationed at JBLM and chose to go to this Firestone location due to convience. I took my vehicle there for new brake pads and rotors. I dropped my vehicle off to have it worked on but later found out Firestone received the wrong parts for my car and that it would need to stay over night which would have left me stranded. I was initially disappointed in the service I received but the excellent customer service I received assistant store manager Jay made up for it. Jay went above and beyond to accommodate me and quickly resolved the matter by making a mechanic put my old parts on with new brake pads so that I can get home, up graded the parts to better ones and gave me a healthy discount. Because of the great customer service I received from Jay, I will continue to do business with them.

Do not go here, I am a soldier stationed at JBLM. This place will tell you one price then overcharge you once they complete the job. Went in for a oil change and they broke my hood lock assembly actuator, they want pay for it and was like that when it was in the shop. It a 2015 cross tour with not one scratch. Then he would not give me my 41 cents back, all my son want was a gumball. The big kicker is they don't even know there job, I'm a better mechanic and never been to school. Doing my on oil changes for now on.
