We have had a storage area with Fort Knox Self Storage for the last three years.  Economical pricing for climate control storage, clean and pest free.   The lifts and wheeled pallets have always been available when we needed them and the staff always willing to assist or help.  One disappointment, we are relocating to another state, and can't take our storage area with us!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0.00 I WOULD .I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM YESTERDAY!! A YOUNG MAN BY THE NAME OF  LEWIS WAS AT THE FRONT DESK WHEN I RETURNED THE KEYS FOR THE U HAUL RENTAL AND HE BLATANTLY TOLD ME THAT I MUST WAIT UNTIL 5:30 PM  WHEN HE IS FINISH WITH HIS PAPER WORK WHEN I ARRIVED AT 5:05PM.HE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.THEN WHAT MAKES IT WORSE WHEN I CALLED  THE MANAGER TODAY HE  TOPPED IT OFF TO SAY YES HE CANT MOVE WHEN HE IS DOING HIS  PAPERWORK.THERE WAS NO OTHER CUSTOMERS AND OFFICE WAS CLOSING!!!  I WAS CONSIDERING STORAGE FROM THEM  BUT THANK GOD I DIDNT MAKE THAT CHOICE!!! BE WARE ...THIS WAS ALL DONE  WITH NO APOLOGIES!!! I RECOMMEND PUBLIC STORAGE  ON (SAMPLE) SPEAK TO EBONY OR EXTRA STORAGE (NW 31) SPEAK WITH RAUL/ PEGGY INSTEAD!!! THEY ALL GAVE ME AWESOME SERVICE!!!! BETTER RATES TOO .

Used this Location for a Uhaul pick up. Greg was available to help and provided excellent customer service, even went the extra step to offer watching my motorcycle which I can't say anyone would do.. need more people like Greg in this world. I will definitely recommend to anyone I know in need of storage or Uhaul

Yes, they increase your rent with less than 5 days notice before your rent is due, but require you to give them 30 days notice before you move out.

Ever since Midgard took over, this place has gone downhill.  It took them just over a year to replace the broken AC units in the back of their "climate controlled" storage......yes it was climate controlled......constant 87 degrees.  

I have been renting from them since 2004, during that time, they have switched property managers no less than 16 times.  Their manager turnover rate just confirms that they have no idea how to run a successful  business.

I guess they like loosing customers........
I am moving this month, as I have had enough !!  Never again will I rent with this company !!

If I can give this place negative 5 stars I would have. They charged me $125 for a $29 uhaul. Once I noticed all the extra charges I called and spoke with the manager GREG who was so rude and nasty. He wasn't even the one that rented the uhaul out to me. he told me I left Styrofoam boxes on the truck and accused me of stealing 2 furniture blankets, and not filling the truck back up where I got it. Big mistake I made was not looking at that truck before I left. The assistant manager gave me the kets and told me to check and see which truck it went to,never walking me out or leaving from behind the desk. Once I made it to my storage there were frogs on the truck and some plastic and styrofoam things and unfolded furniture blankets. To top it off the gas was at 1/8 when I got the truck so thats where I put it back at and they charged me extra for gas. Go elsewhere and get a truck. I will never rent from them again and as long as GREG is the manager there I will never recommend to anyone not even my worst enemy. I have videos of the back of the truck and me fighting to get frogs out. This place and the staff is a joke. This looks like a case for help me Howard. How many other people have they ripped off like this. They should take the extra money that they are stealing from people and use it to put GREG in some costumer service classes. As a registered nurse I deal with difficult people everyday but I try to here people out and help them the best way I can because thats the pledge that I took and thats my job.
