A small museum with a very nice collection. We visited over the holidays, and they had an excellent exhibit on Christmas in the Soviet Union that was fascinating from both and artistic and a cultural perspective. There was also some artwork on mushrooms that I thought was cool and quirky. Plus the building itself is pretty cool.

It is a very beautiful building and they have some very nice things. But to be honest, for the casual art museum goer it is a little boring. I'm sure there is more to appreciate than I did though.

First-rate venue. The quality of exhibited objects cannot fail to impress. If you're seeking an experience that satisfies an art craving without exhaustion this is the ticket.

It is what it claims to be. It is a museum, inside there is a lot of art, from Russia. Exhibits change all the time so it isn't a one-and-done kind of place. Gift shop is there, the archetecture of the building is nice, and staff is friendly. Go check it out!

An eye opening experience! I never knew there was such a rich history of religious artwork throughout Russia before WW11!
