Better than Best buy for variety. Prices are similar, but they will also match any price for comparable items. Checkouts are quick except for Saturday afternoons. Most of my home electronics come from Fry's. It's also one of the last places for computer components when you want to build your own or upgrade.

Great place to find all kinds of interesting electronic goodies.  Problem is when you get there the store is a bit disorganized.  You go to aisle where you know the item you are looking for is and you are met with a wall of stuff hanging on pegs the organization makes sense to person that put stuff there.  You could try asking someone,  but finding someone willing to help is a challenge and I have more than once been told what I was looking for did not exist and ended up having to order it online from their site because I simply could not find it in the store.   

They do offer online price matching but the one time I went through the process made me swear to only go through it if best buy did not carry the same product, at Fry's price matching took me 25 minutes...and then I had to get in line to pay.

Like a toy store for adults. The have every gadget you can imagine,...well almost, lol. They could improve service by increasing staff assistance on the floor and their computer service that the staff uses. It always seems so slow! The staff is great though. Don't plan on popping in and out. There is always a line by the cash registers.

I went there for 1 item they had on a one day promo. 5 hrs after opening they sold the only 4 they had in stock. 2 closest stores also sold out. No rain checks available. IMHO their buyer is doing a poor job with stock levels, many empty pegs and shelf spaces. Stock what sells.

Looking for a new computer, I bought one @ Best Buy,  but burned it down-loading games.  Fry's has good service, answered questions, and found a computer to suit my needs. It turns out, every computer is suited for certain purposes.
