   I have bought monitors, an LCD monitor, and maybe a hundred disk drives from them.  But, I went there in person!  

   I have not been there since early 2005.  The company was at 1600 Duane Avenue, Santa Clara, 95054.  Today, 2009 Jan 30, their web site is completely different, and their building is in a new location.  
I see above, Google Maps says SoftwareandStuff.  This was the name before it was Surplus Computers.  Sometime around 2000 to 2002, I believe.  
   The S&S web site was still working, along with the Surplus Computers web site, on 2005 April 25.  Eventually, it redirected one to the Surplus Computers web site.  

   I know nothing about the new place, which appears to have new owners---why else change everything?---and now, reading the 2008 review, I doubt I will check it out...

I bought a pair of refurbished speakers from these clowns. They have a constant static noise, so I called the manufacturer. They did not want to help me since it was bought from these "surplus" guys. So I emailed this company, from which i bought it from, and they have still not replied to me yet.

Terrible service, and a defective product. Stay away from this "company".
