Good food! I thought I ordered it fairly spicy, but it came pretty mild, so if you like spice, order hotter! The food was pretty good and came out quickly. I liked the decor and vibe and there wasn't a wait to get in.

This place is worth a go. Good spice. Nice appetizers. Could have some music on. A bit of a strict atmosphere.

There is no better expression of the neighborhood joint serving a little piece of their heritage to the greater community. Once you enter -- through a door apparently hung backwards? -- Gateway to India offers inexpensive treats catering to every taste. Particularly, the lunch buffet is good and inexpensive. They offer vegan food, if you have that friend who can't possibly resist the opportunity to inform you of their ethical consumption.

Willing to accommodate dietary needs (milk soy protein intolerance in our case). Very family friendly -- welcoming and patient with young kids. Consistently delicious food. Reasonably priced. Service is quick and always friendly. One if our favorite Tacoma restaurants.

This is my go to for Indian food around TG... I really enjoyed their lunch buffet... individual dishes are very good too... however, expect to have a long what for your food... but I've come to learn that good Indian food requires a certain amount of waiting...
